Marketing and Sales are the backbones of any business, proper marketing plan ensures better sales for the organization thereby earning revenue leading to better revenue and growth of the company.

The sales team looks up towards the marketing team to generate leads for the product or service the company is dealing with and thereafter puts in the effort to work on them and close the deal. It is irrespective of what organization you are working with. In smaller companies for instance the marketing and sales departments are not categorically differentiated and they play the role of two in one! However, the implementation of the ideal system is the same!

Step 1: The first and foremost step of an ideal sales and marketing plan is to create an impression in the mind of your client or customer. The idea here is to attract as many leads that are possible to get using different kinds of platforms that are available so that the number of suspects is created. Remember that by just creating an impression you are basically creating a platform that will allow you to cultivate a lead who initially is a suspect but not a ready buyer that is a prospect, which is the next part of the plan.

Step 2: When a client or customer shows a little interest in your product, he is a suspect. The sales team must thereafter nurture the inquiry; see how the client or customer fits in the type of product or service the organization is offering. The connection with the client must be properly established building a healthy relationship is the most important aspect. To find a proper need of the client and then fulfilling it. Here, the point is to guide the customer along the decision-making process. This is the stage where suspects turn to become proper prospects. The team must keep increasing the number of prospects so that the number of Sales increases and revenue generation increases. The more you sell, the more you earn!!

Step 3: Once you have won the client and sold your product, this is the last step to be followed. One must keep the awesome feeling even after the sale is through as the buyers can be a source of goldmine by referring, further purchase, goodwill ambassadors, etc.

These steps are the simplest conceptual process of an ideal system in a nutshell!!
